… In late November, for a week.
Alright alright, I know there’s still a long long way to go, but I’m already so excited and fidgety. I can’t stop thinking about it! And my parents allowed me to plan my own itinerary, meaning that I can go anywhere I want to. They are also allowing me to roam around on my own. 😀
The thing is, I’ve only been to Japan once, and that was a really long time ago – when I was half the size I am now. I don’t really know the place well, and we’re not going on a tour, so I need recommendations on where to go! And I can’t speak Japanese, so I’m going to have a really hard time getting around. I wish someone could bring me around. 😦
I am proud to present my otaku to-do list in Japan:
- Drown myself in good-looking 2D guys at Otome Road in Ikebukuro, and look at BL stuff without feeling embarrassed. I wonder if they allow girls below 18, but I think I look 18 anyway.
- Experience a butler cafe – I’m thinking Swallowtail, but I heard you need reservations… But how!?
- Feel the otaku atmosphere at Akihabara.
- Experience a moe maid cafe. @home cafe seems like a hot spot!
Ogle at Admire awesome cosplayers at Harajuku.
- Shop for otaku related merchandise at Nakano Broadway.
- Have fun at the Sunshine Namja Town in Sunshine City.
- Visit the Ghibli Museum. This also requires ordering of tickets in advance, but they don’t have the ordering service in my country. I could try ordering it at a Lawson store in Japan, but chances are rather slim because I heard people book tickets 3 months in advance. 😦
Find a Japanese boyfriend, run away from my parents, elope with him, and live together happily ever after.
Am I missing out on anything? Your recommendations or perhaps travel tips would be great! And if you’ve been to Japan before, I’d love to hear your experiences. 😀
I wish we could all go to Japan and hyperventilate over anime guys together. It’s always more fun to do things together (and also less embarrassing 😛 ). I can’t possibly do that with my parents – they don’t understand my unhealthy obsession over what they call “cartoons”, but they accept me for who I am and let me do what I want (well, as long as I obtain good results anyway).
I’m really fortunate. 🙂
I can’t hold back the tears!
Animeguyspl0x is actually half a year old already!? What!? It feels like only yesterday when I first posted my very first review… I used to blog so differently in the past. ( ﾟ_ゝﾟ)
Yep, in fact, animeguyspl0x is 6 months and 2 days old today (I’m sorry I missed the actual day itself, urgh. I’m feeling really guilty about it).
I can’t believe it has been half a year since I’ve started this blog. It took just a simple blink of an eye… And look how much time has already passed. It’s quite amazing actually. Somehow running animeguyspl0x kind of feels like I’m bringing up my child or something. Oh animeguyspl0x, I’ve been taking care of you ever since you were a cute lil’ baby (you’re still cute don’t worry). 🙂
I guess that one thing that keeps me going is YOU.
Thank you so much for reading animeguyspl0x!
You’ve been such a big part of my life. I know I probably sound cheesy and cliche and stuff like that but it’s all coming from the bottom of my heart.
And also, since tomorrow is valentines day, I’d just like to wish all of you out there, a very happy valentines day! You’re loved. 😉
May you have a great valentines day with your loved ones (whether he’s for real or on the screen). Love doesn’t have any rules, so who says that you can’t fall in love with a fictional character?
Kanou from Kaicho wa Maid-sama!
I’m going to write a little about my thoughts on the year 2011 in this post! To start off this post, I want to say a really really really big thank you to all of you readers who have been reading animeguyspl0x! I’ve never expected animeguyspl0x to gather so many views without me even advertising it. I didn’t even tell my friends that I have this blog, so I’m like a mysterious blogger 😉
A merry merry merry Christmas from animeguyspl0x!!
My best Christmas presents would be you guys. And my Christmas present to you guys is, of course, anime guys, yes please! 😉
Since my banner for Dec’11 is Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love 1000% , this year’s models for the Christmas celebration shall be them. Prepare for an overdose of bishies.
Then I must look really pretty when I’m talking to you guys, right? 🙂
I know it’s nothing much, but I guess I’ll just celebrate this little event with a sexy picture of Kyoya from Ouran High School Host Club. How refreshing~
Look out for my next review! 🙂
I’ll be treating this like my anime diary from now, instead of simply spazzing over anime guys. This would give me a good track of what animes I’ve watched, and also to gather better recommendations for other animes that I have not watched.
Well of course, if there are cute anime guys, I’ll be certain to put a picture of him up. Definitely!
As much as I’ll talk about other animes, I won’t ever forget the existence of anime guys! There must be one somewhere in every one of them.
